SMT1 iOS Installation Guide
-
It is notoriously difficult to play the iOS version of SMT 1 these days, for two main reasons:
-
It is a 32-bit app, and support for 32-bit apps was dropped in iOS 11.
-
It was removed from the App Store.
-
I decided to put together a guide outlining the steps I took to install the game on my iOS device. Unfortunately, reproducibility cannot be taken for granted in the iOS world, and what worked for me today may not work for others tomorrow. Nevertheless, these steps may serve as a general guidance:
-
Step 1: Download the SMT1 IPA
-
The game itself has been taken down from App Store, but here is a backup. Make sure you have access to it before proceeding:
-
https://mega.nz/file/MhM1kYIY#TMmFOAVmkVinvZieH7sm-_4ialDqXC9JztLBJFQS6fc
-
Step 2: Jailbreak the device
-
The process of jailbreaking your device will differ depending on your iOS model and version. The end state here is to install the Cydia app and be able to open it successfully. In my case, I had to install Panda Helper from App Store, then use Panda Helper to install the Phoenix jailbreak, then use the Phoenix jailbreak app to jailbreak the device. Installing the Phoenix IPA using Cydia Impactor or SuperImpactor never worked for me due to some recent changes on the server side.
-
Step 3: Install AppSync Unified
-
Open Cydia -> Sources -> Add https://cydia.akemi.ai/ as a Source -> Search -> Install "AppSync Unified".
-
Step 4: Install Filza
-
Open Cydia -> Search -> Install "Filza File Manager".
-
Step 5: Install a SSH server
-
Next, you need to be able to run commands as root user. My way of doing this was to open Cydia and install OpenSSH, then run commands from a different device. An alternative would be to use Cydia to install a Terminal app. It would be less convenient to enter the commands, but you wouldn't need access to a second device.
-
Step 6: Find out the IP address
-
The IP address of the iOS device can usually be found in Settings -> WiFi.
-
Step 7: SSH into the device
-
With an SSH server installed on the iOS device, I first made sure that my laptop was on the same WiFi network, then logged into the device like so:
-
with default port 22 and default password "alpine". You should now be able to run commands on the iOS device.
-
Step 8: Download the SMT1 IPA onto the device
-
The normal way to install arbitrary IPAs would be to use iTunes, Impactor, AltStore or the like, but I wasn't successful with any of those. What worked instead was to install the IPA as a "root" application. On the iOS device, open Safari and enter the download link of the SMT 1 IPA. I had trouble getting Safari to download it from MEGA, so I uploaded it to Mediafire and downloaded it from there instead. Tell Safari to open/share the downloaded file with Fileza.
-
Step 9: Extract the IPA
-
Open Filza -> Documents tab. The IPA should be here. Tap on it -> Extract. This should extract all its files to a directory.
-
Step 10: Copy the directory
-
After extracting the files, open the new directory and enter the sub-directory Payload. Tap and hold the "megaten1.app" directory -> Copy. Go to [Root] -> Applications. Paste the directory here.
-
Step 11: Flush UI cache
-
SMT 1 is now installed as a "root app", but the icon may not be visible on the UI yet. To make it happen, SSH into the device and run "$ uicache". After a few seconds, the SMT 1 icon should appear on the screen. After a few seconds, the SMT 1 icon should appear on the screen.
-
Step 12: Set executable permissions
-
I found that the game would briefly display the Atlus logo before crashing every time I opened the SMT 1 app. The solution to this problem was to relax the executable permissions of the SMT 1 executable. Again, over SSH, run this:
-
$ chmod 777 chmod 777 /Applications/megaten1.app/megaten1
-
You should now be able to get past the Atlus logo and start the game.

Megami Tensei I
-
Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei contains this game and its direct sequel and has been translated! Here's a link to it, pre-patched with Patch V1.1:
-
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e83k2zaxc1sgxjz/Kyuuyaku%20Megami%20Tensei.smc?dl=0
-
VIT/STR build for Nakajima. He cannot use Magic, but increasing INT also raises his magical resistance. INT/SPD build for Yumiko. She won't get her first damaging spell for a while though.
-
Recruit a Cerberus on 1F of Daedalus. He's an uncommon encounter. He should help with the Minotaur boss.
-
If you're underleveled, try grinding on the spots where a demon was hiding. They will be there every time.
-
Later in the game you will run into enemies that have energy drain, which will cause human characters to lose a level if it connects. This can be prevented by casting tetraja. You can check an enemy's skills in battle with the COMP's devil analyzer - it's typically night race demons that can level drain.
-
Megami Tensei II
-
See above for a translation of Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei.
-
As with Megami Tensei, VIT/STR build for the hero with at least 7 INT, INT/SPD for the female partner, and VIT/INT/SPD for the friend character.
-
If you are playing the Kyuuyaku version, you can get some bonuses by completing some optional objectives in Megami Tensei before finishing the game and immediately starting MTII. They're very minor and aren't a reason to play MT first if you don't want to.
-
The minotaur at the end of Devil Busters at the beginning can be easily beaten by recruiting a pixie and a kobold and fusing them into a carbuncle.
-
Get as many core shields as possible from Rag's Shop by trading him emeralds. It'll make the Zaratan dungeon much less painful.
-
It is possible to see both of the game's endings in one playthrough, so long as you make the choices that lead to the game's chaos ending.
-
Shin Megami Tensei I
-
Use Orden's patch. It fixes some demon names, skill names, bugs, etc.
-
https://www.dropbox.com/s/w1f1qx3z7cf0rc4/Shin%20Megami%20Tensei.smc?dl=0
-
Nerve bullets are the best ammunition in the game, so buy them as soon as you can.
-
Hero should focus on VIT/STR with at least 10 INT and some SPD, for Law Hero focus on MAG/SPD, for Chaos Hero focus on STR/VIT, and for Heroine focus on MAG/SPD/VIT.
-
Shin Megami Tensei II
-
Use Orden's patch. It's similar to his SMT1 patch in that it fixes some demon names and such:
-
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2pbd65jcm0cxpd4/Shin%20Megami%20Tensei%20II.smc?dl=0
-
By fusing a Messian/Gaian with a demon, you can fuse above your level limit. You may not have enough magnetite to summon it though, so be warned.
-
Aleph will need 10 MAG and 10 INT at certain points in the game. Aside from that, a VIT/STR build as usual. Beth and Hiroko benefit from MAG/SPD.

-
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne
-
The PSN version has a bit of slow down during the fusion process, which is usually skipped anyways. Otherwise it runs great.
-
If you are running into problems with the game crashing, set it to NTSC 60hz mode regardless of the region.
-
If you are playing on hard mode, the first few battles are completely luck based so just keep trying if you die. It will eventually smoothen out the further you get into the game.
-
A physical build is highly recommended, especially for the True Demon Ending; St is most important, with secondary stats Ag for hitrate and Vi for survivability. Do not ignore Ma entirely as it is used for magic defense, but do ignore Lu as it is largely terrible.
-
Keep track of what demon your Pixie fuses/evolves/sacrifices into and make sure you keep her, or that demon into end game. She is needed to open a door in one of the Kalpas for the True Demon Ending
-
Buffs and debuffs are very important for boss fights.
-
To make demon fusion planning much easier, download Heretic Mansion:
-
http://phpsimplicity.com/heretic
-
Fusing demons of the same family will create an Element which can be used to rank down or rank up a demon within it's family. Fusing two Elements will result in a Mitama which will boost the stats and add skills to the skill pool of a demon it fuses into without changing it's EXP at all.
-
Recruit Angel and Lilim in Ginza and fuse them to make Nozuchi. He'll be very useful against the Matador fight. Buy and equip the Hifumi Magatama from the Junk Shop in the Great Underpass of Ginza if you're having trouble against him.
-
Daisoujou is a very good healer due to his ability to drain MP from most enemies, including bosses. He can be acquired around the early-mid game and is useful up until the final areas of the game.
-
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
-
The questionnaire you answer at the start of the game determines your stat distribution, as you cannot set your stats manually. Visit gamefaqs to see the different possibilities. This however, does not make a huge impact on the game.
-
Your alignment is determined through the choices you make in the game. Because there is a repeatable question in the Fairy Village of Sector Antlia, right before the Sector H scenario, you can be any alignment you want throughout the game and then switch to get the ending you want.
-
Don't be cheap with sources but don't waste them on throwaway demons like fusion fodder. You can get sources again easily on NG+.
-
Don't be afraid to use demons that aren't the same alignment as you. In fact, the neutral final boss is easier with varied alignments. However, it is recommended that you use a same-alignment team for the Ouroboros battle for reliable damage. Use fire skills on her ass.
-
You can crabwalk and back pedal by holding down the B button and moving in a direction.

-
Play Shin Megami Tensei IV first to see Flynn's backstory and the events leading up to Apocalypse. Do NOT listen to anyone that says to play this first.
-
Any build is fine.
-
Demons with Electricity are helpful late game in the final dungeon.
-
Twisted Tokyo is south of Minami Sunamachi after the Cosmic Egg appears, where the fiends are found. You can only enter on Conflict and above difficulty.
-
To get the Black Card, you must go to Midtown after the Cosmic Egg appears and fight Hagen.
-
Bind and Fundraise/Fundraise+ to get more money out of demons.
-
Upgrade your Ame-No-Habikiri ASAP at Yoyogi Park.
-
Keep one demon with Magaon for bosses who abuse smirk, inflict ailments for regular mobs.
-
Recruit or fuse an Angel or Archangel and let it evolve, it produces a demon a few levels higher.
-
Apps to Get in Priority:
-
Player Skill expansion slots (+1 every 25 levels).
-
Demon skill expansion slots.
-
MP Team Recovery.
-
Stock Expansions.
-
Scout skills (Fundraise+ if you need money).
-
Fusion Booster, get as many as needed for your desired fusion.
-
Recommended Partners:
-
Navarre for boss fights, he also uses your items to assist you.
-
Nozomi for killing mobs, if you haven't gotten Toki yet.
-
Toki for grinding and instant killing mobs.
-
Asahi/Hallelujah for Fundraising or Scouting demons (they don't attack often).
-
Gaston if you don't care.
-
Persona 1
-
A bunch of great stuff:
-
http://persona1.wikidot.com/
-
Max out DEX and get Megido.
-
Unless the enemy will absorb or reflect it, always use your personas. When they level up, ALL of their stats go up.
-
If you want to go on the much harder Snow Queen Quest, and completely alternate quest, make sure you talk to everybody at school every single time you're there. Visit every room and talk to everyone. Twice.
-
The best 5th party member is Reiji, but you have to talk to everybody, including his mother at the mall before the real game starts, and you have to encounter him in front of SEBEC and at the abandoned factory at specific times. If you don't have him by the end of the school dungeon, you messed up.
-
Mediarama and regular Medicine will last you well past half way through the game
-
If you get into the lost forest dungeon, save your game on an alternate slot. Trust me on this.
-
Fill out every space on your map and fight everything you encounter to make sure you're leveled up.
-
Persona 2: Innocent Sin
-
Max out DEX.
-
You can play the game using only the Persona you get from Philemon directly ("handouts").
-
Allow your party members to handle issues on their own when given the choice, however don't leave Yukino behind (you will understand the meaning of this eventually).
-
Spread the most expensive shop rumors.
-
Use fusion spells at every opportunity; they rank up your Persona faster and do tons of damage.
-
To get the ultimate handout persona, you must collect all the masks hidden in Mt. Iwato.
-
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
-
Use the Velvet Room on a regular basis, as your handouts are not strong enough to carry you the whole game like in IS.
-
Stock up on Lucky Bags and Antidotes before going to the Sanitarium
-
When warned to stock up on the next area, take the chance to do so.
-
Talk to everyone everywhere because there are miss-able unlockable contacts and sidequests.
-
Only go to the Bomb Shelter if you are prepared for a challenge.
-
Give Baofu personae with Tec or Agi bonuses.
-
Get accustomed to demon contacts; try to get blank cards whenever possible.
-
Vivian and Susanoo (make sure to get its mutation to Nodens) are some Persona with Estoma.
-
Don't give Katsuya a TEC Persona.
-
Persona 3 (& Portable)
-
> It is possible to max out all social links in your first run without a guide. Prioritize less accessible social links (ones available on fewer days of the week, or not available during the summer) over more accessible ones. Here are some SLs to take note of:
-
High Priority
-
[Lovers, Empress, Priestess] The SEES girls (male protagonist), only a small time frame to do them
-
[Sun] Akinari Kamiki
-
[Moon] Shinjiro (P3P), very little time to rank him up. Must focus on him intensely when available.
-
Low Priority
-
[Hierophant] Bunkichi and Mitsuko, avaliable on many days
-
Aim to reach the top of the current Tartarus block before the next full moon. Go as high as you are allowed.
-
Do Elizabeth's requests, even if they are difficult. They will pace the game well and they should level you up sufficiently for any upcoming important battles.
-
Persona 4 (& Golden)
-
You can max social links in your first run without a guide. Prioritize less avaliable social links over more accessible ones. Also, don't bother spending free time with characters who already get a lot of social link points through events, but still advance their social links when possible. Here are some SLs to take note of:
-
High Priority or Hard
-
[Temperance] Eri, daytime SL and yet no special events to add SL points as well as easy to forget about
-
[Death] Old Lady, activated on Devil 4, only avaliable on Sundays and holidays but will always rank up
-
[Jester] Adachi (P4G), avaliable at inconsistent times, sometimes on rainy days. Max doable rank is 6.
-
Low Priority or Easy
-
[Magician] Yosuke, many special events, avaliable during breaks
-
[Priestess] Yukiko, many special events, avaliable during breaks
-
[Chariot] Chie, too much special events, avaliable during breaks, absolute lowest daytime priority
-
[Hermit] Fox, actual social link event can be done in the rain. Try to finish before Janurary for ease.
-
[Strength] Kou/Daisuke, many days to attend to the social link
-
[Sun] Yumi/Ayane, one of the few social links that can be done on rainy days
-
All nighttime SLs, plenty of time to do them. Don't rush.
-
Other
-
[Moon] Ai, save before each event in case
-
[Aeon] Marie (P4G), need rank 10 to unlock an extra dungeon. December is the last month to do so.
-
In December, the schedules of SL members becomes inconsistent. The Investigation Team related SLs will become less avaliable while Marie will be extremely more avaliable making it easy to do a lot of the Aeon rank up work this month. Clearing the December dungeon will skip to the end of the month days-wise, so try to do it on the 22nd so you can clear it and still get the Christmas date event.
-
The aim of a perfect SL run is to have SL events running almost each day. You should be spending almost no free time with anyone but the non-school Social Links. If you cannot advance a SL, go to another one or use small talk at night time or fortunes to get SL points. Or, increase your social stats and await for special events to give the sufficient SL points you need to continue Social Linking.

You won't need a matching Persona for the early ranks of a social link, as correct answers will level them sufficiently or they are designed so you have to obtain non-in-SL event points anyway.
-
If you need to grind, Gold Hands give a lot of EXP.
-
Mana management tips
-
Buy TaP sodas from one of the vending machines; you can buy five per week (replenishes on Monday).
-
At level 17, you can fuse a Sarasvati with Invigorate 2.
-
If you are cheap and patient, you can grind on weak enemies for Cup cards (P4G).
-
Only go into dungeons on days without a daytime or nighttime social link. Try to complete each in one day.
-
On rainy days, you can visit Aiya to get a large social stat increase.
-
Save scooter explorations for rainy days. (P4G)
-
When trying to catch the Guardians, cast and recast until you get a giant, splashing ripple. If you have to ask whether you've got the correct ripple or not, it's not.
-
Persona 4 Arena / Ultimax
-
Play through Lesson Mode to learn the fundamentals of the game. Then, go into Challenge mode and do ~20 of the first challenges for your intended main character to learn the basics of him/her.
-
Play with other people a lot to get experience, no one is good when they start fighting games. You just have to keep on trying!
-
Persona Q

-
Raidou Kuzunoha 1+2
-
A physical build for Raidou is recommended.
-
You can let Raidou do the damage and use a healer as your demon for the majority of the game.
-
You can bring up the R1 menu (this pauses the game) to dismiss your demon to protect it from danger; this is much more reliable than calling it to your side.
-
Soul Hackers
-
MC should focus on Luck and En, with some Ag. MC learns no skills, so he will never be your main source of damage.
-
Nemissa should focus on Ma, and some Ag and In.
-
St increases physical attack damage, not useful on either MC or Nemissa.
-
In increases Magic def, MP, and slightly increases Magic damage.
-
Ma Increases Magic damage and slightly increases MP.
-
En increases Defense, very important for MC, death is game over.
-
Ag Increases Evasion rate, turn order, and slightly increases Accuracy.
-
Lu increases accuracy, evasion (both to damaging skills and to ailments, as well as to Hama/Mudo), item drops and negotiation.
-
Nemissa's skill path is determined by an early question about Hitomi. When Spooky asks what she's like, you get to pick from upbeat (Fire and Expel skills), calm (Ice and Death skills), and sexy (Electric and more Almighty skills).
-
Conserve MAG by not having a full party of demons out unless you need to. MC, Nemissa, and Zeed are often enough to get through dungeons.
-
Demons have a chance of disobeying depending on their loyalty level. You can increase their loyalty by ordering them to do things they like or giving them gifts from the Item menu. The digital manual (home screen, touch 'Manual' on the bottom screen when selecting the icon) and the game give you good descriptions of each personality type. You can also give demons booze to change their personality for a small amount of time.
-
Zoma Zeed is a special demon you unlock at some point in the game. It takes no MAG to summon or upkeep, is always at Maximum loyalty, and is also great at inheriting skills, but it has lower stats than demons at the same level. When you initially fuse it, it'll gain the level of the other demon. It's level will change to the average of its and the other demon's level on subsequent fusions, but you can reset him by fusing him on New moon. Since it's weak, it's often put in support role, with healing, buffs/debuffs, etc. Or used as a decoy in random encounters.
-
The best way to acquire yen is to sell MAG.
-
In the casino you can acquire amazing swords and armor which can easily last to the endgame, though they're not the best in the game. Use back-upper to save outside the casino and try either Vs. Poker or Dice Game, reload if you lose too much money. In the case of Dice Game, always bet 100 on your 3 picks (2, 3, 11 and 12 tend to give the most money) and max out the Frost Bet. You can then keep doing bonus rolls to quickly multiply your coins, but if you get a 7 you lose them.
-
After maxing a demon's loyalty, you can go to Victor and use Mystic Change to turn that demon into an item. A lot of demons give great equipment.
-
Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 1+2
-
Any build is fine.
-
Don't ever buy ammo unless you are planning to hunt DDS1 Omoikanes.
-
Get Dekunda and Dekaja as soon as possible, obtained by doing the buff and Expel Mantra route respectively.
-
Make sure to get Mutual Karma as soon as possible.
-
In DDS1,
-
Magic/Luck Noise is easier to obtain than Strength/Agility Noise.
-
Don't bother learning skills for party members you are not planning to use.
-
Sell Cells at Full Solar Noise to get the most profit, except Jack cells, which should be sold at Minimum Solar Noise for maximum profit.
-
In DDS2,
-
Level up every character equally, you'll regret it if you don't.
-
Learning the Zio-based mantras are imperative.
-
If you want to fight the angel sidebosses, learning ailment resistant mantras is imperative.
-
Poison and Charm attacks will allow you to bulldoze through the final dungeon.
-
Null Element from the Almighty mantras will make most fights a breeze, especially the final boss.
-
Devil Survivor (& Overclocked)
-
A magic build is preferable to a physical one, although it is possible to do even the hardest routes with phys.
-
Strive for no leader deaths so you can get a title which will help in NG+. Guest deaths do not count (OC only).
-
A demon's base level plays heavily into their usefulness, especially in terms of damage. Fuse often.
-
If you are playing Overclocked, get strength and vitality to 12 for Null Physical.
-
Up STR and VIT to 15 to get Repel Physical if you are doing the 8th day of Amane's route.
-
You can ignore all of Honda's events after experiencing his initial one.
-
Devil Survivor 2
-
Any build is fine. There are more skills than DeSu 1 to play around with and distribute among party members.
-
Strive for no leader deaths so you can get a title which will help in NG+. Guest deaths do not count.
-
Do all required/plot events immediately. No exceptions.
-
A demon's base level plays heavily into their usefulness, especially in terms of damage. Fuse often.

Triumphant Ending Guide
-
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tUvLiPi9FU-U6QmPDuMF8DyJQTRQ5yiPbqQcurdePPI/edit?pli=1
-
To get the Daichi+ ending, all characters need to be Fate 4 except for Al Saiduq, Daichi, Jungo, Hinako, and Io (but she is required to survive). Also, the player must choose to restore the world.
-
Last Bible/Revelations, the Demon Slayer 1
-
Main Hero should go for STR/Endurance but can go for magic. This is to make auto-battling alot faster
-
Friend is a mix of both and not really good at either BUT is how you fuse demons
-
To prevent him from dying so you can always fuse, and Endurance is suggested.
-
Heroine, as you could have guessed is Magic build focused.
-
Game is a bit grindy so do not be afraid to hit the turbo speed and get some cash to fully outfit your Squad.
-
"Demon" negations are ass so to have the best chance, send a demon to go do the talking, they have a 50/50 chance of succeeding.
-
Another Bible
-
Main hero can NOT learn any magic so just go with the usual STR build.
-
Heroine is not a magic users but a healer/bow user so put points into STR and DEF as she is the only way to recruit monsters other then if your monsters hit level 2 in which case they are able to recruit other monsters.
-
Monsters are also able to level up and be given up stat increases at level 3 they evolve into a better monster, eg Loki -> Pazuzu -> Ashura -> Lucifer.
-
Buying Joy coins is a smart idea whenever you can as they allow characters to gain 5exp per turn.
-
Some characters are better then others just like in any other SRPG (Hera is amazing, Reefena sucks turd for example).
-
There are secret maps like Gaiden chapters in Fire emblem games but unlike there, in this game its unlocked by going into a specific tile with a specific character and aren't a big deal to worry about.
-
Buy all the robot devices you can as later on in the game you can fuse them with your monsters and they turn into OP Cyborgs.
-

The English servers are dead, but you can still play on the Japanese servers.
-
Check this site for help on playing on the Japanese servers:
-
http://megatenonline.proboards.com/
-
Make sure to stick to a plan for your character, as it is expensive to undo changes.
-
Melee characters focus intently on STR with occasional VIT/LUCK; Enhancers focus utterly on INT; Mages focus on MAG.

-
This is the book which inspired the Megami Tensei franchise. It tells the story of Akemi Nakajima, a young computer genius who created a Devil Summoning Program to cast demons of legend into the real world. Unfortunately for him, things didn't go exactly as planned; lots of shenanigans ensue.

This novel takes place in the world of Digital Devil Saga, and was created by the original story writer of the games. While the characters and setting are similar; the story and how everything is fleshed out, vastly diverges from the games. There are a total of 5 books, and as off now, only the first one has been translated and published. Make sure to show your support so we can get all 5 books translated.

In SMT IV there are two undub variants. The reason for it is that the movies are hardsubbed, similar to how Funimation streams their anime. Japanese movies have kanji subs hardsubbed into them, English ones have english text hardsubbed (source: gbatemp.net/threads/release-shin-megami-tensei-iv-undub.373660)

Undub Notes
-
If you get a dlc not recognized error, follow the following instructions:
-
I have a EUR console, the DLC works if you use the Locale Switch method and make sure Game Patching is enabled.
-
If installing Luma Locale Switcher and following the instructions above is not working, there is another method where you manually create the locale folder yourself, which is what I had to do.
-
Get the latest Luma version if you already haven't
-
On the root of your sd card create a folder call "luma", then inside the folder create another folder name "titles"
-
Then inside the "titles" folder create another folder name "x" where x is the ID of the game. In this case it's 000400000019A200
-
Then inside the folder of "x" create a text name "locale" and type USA EN on the first line then save (it should look like /luma/titles/000400000019A200/locale.txt) .
-
CHECK ENABLE PATCHING (if not checked yet) on the Luma Settings when you boot (hold select on boot). If it is checked, skip it.
-
This method may work if you experience this issue with other games. Replace the title id (000400000019A200 for the USA release of Apocalypse) with that of the game you are having trouble with. 3dsdb.com has a searchable database of title ids.
-
The first SMTIV undub is an EU cia while the SMTIV Apocalypse undub is USA. This makes importing your IV save into Apocalypse difficult. This is the workaround I used:
-
Back up your original SMTIV save with checkpoint.
-
Install an NA reigon copy of SMTIV.
-
Play through to the point you can create a save file.
-
Back up that save file via checkpoint.
-
On your 3ds sd card, go to /3ds/checkpoint/saves.
-
Replace the USA backup with the EU save (if you have multiple saves from your original install it should be easy to tell which is which, otherwise look up the title id).
-
Turn on your 3ds and restore the save for the USA region SMTIV. You should now be able to import your save.
-
